Best wedding proposal site in Banff.

A kiss, a promise, a life shared together for this newly engaged couple.

Jeremy is a very classy guy.  When he proposed to Meagan he wanted all the emotion of the day captured in images for them to cherish forever.  He hired Crista Lee Mitchel of Crista Lee Photography and myself to come up with a plan where we could work together to capture the precise moment.   We decided that the top of the North America chair at Mt. Norquay Ski Resort in Banff, AB would be a stunning and dramatic backdrop for his declaration of love and marriage.  With walkie talkies in hand, Crista Lee and I hide behind snow banks and bushes and waited for the couple to make their way up the chair lift, excitedly preparing to clandestinely photograph the proposal.

As a cold wind swept across my face, my excitement momentarily waivered.  “Crista Lee, how certain are you that she is going to say yes?…OVER. “

A long pause and nothing but static came from the walkie talkie.  And then, “I’m not. But if she doesn’t, this is going to be our shortest photo shoot ever. OVER.”

Thankfully, she said “yes”!

It was so beautifully executed, how could she not?

So, IMHO, the top of the North America chair at the Mt. Norquay Ski Resort is the BEST WEDDING PROPOSAL SITE IN BANFF!!!

The big moment.

She said “Yes!”

This was one of the last images made that day.  As the light left the sky, a kiss sealed their promise, and their love.
